Some fifty years ago I listened nightly to The Voice of Tangier and favored of all the programs The Peter and John Broadcast. Within a short period of time I have now both relocated some used records of these men singing and now the Peter Bisset homepage. Is it possible to buy any recordings of the old broadcast from any possible archive? I dream about it! God bless your endeavours with this page! Lm

Thank you for putting together such a great website! I listened to one of Pastor Bisset's sermons. It touched me and brought back so many memories. I got saved at ABC back in 1989 at the age of 8. I will never forget that day when Pastor Bisset gave the invitation. I went forward to the altar, where I prayed and gave my heart over to Christ. I thank God to this day that "I am his, and he is mine. Without him, I could do nothing!" I am ready to meet God in Heaven soon! Thank you! These sermons are truly a blessing. It's so good to hear his messages again. John 3:16

I thank the Lord Jesus for saving my soul. I was saved at a funeral when Pastor Peter Bisset preached during the service. He read from the Bible, Luke 16:19-31, about the beggar and the rich man. The beggar, Lazarus, was carried by the angels to Heaven. The rich man was buried and went to Hell. The rich man asked Abraham (in Heaven) to send Lazarus to put some water on his tongue. He was tormented in the flame. Abraham said he could not do that because there is a "great gulf fixed". You cannot pass from Heaven to Hell. The Holy Spirit told me I was on the wrong side of the gulf. I asked the Lord Jesus to come into my heart, and I was saved at that time. My wife, Gladys, was saved at the same time. I thank the Lord for Pastor Bisset's faithfulness in using the Bible to show us the way of salvation.

What a great website. I did not have the privilege to sit under the direct ministry of Peter Bisset; however, he has contributed much to my spiritual growth and ministry. As a kid, I grew up on WRBS and remember the Peter and John broadcast. But after graduating from seminary, I had the privilege to teach at Arlington Baptist High School and Arlington Bible College; but sadly my ministry there was a post-Bisset Arlington. Even though I did not minister directly under him or with him, it was a privilege to minister on the foundation that he laid. And I count it a very special honor to have been ordained by Arlington. Thank you for these sermons. I had always heard that he had a unique way of taking any message and presenting the gospel. And in listening to these sermons, I hear that and am learning much from him. I am not only learning biblical knowledge but also homiletical technique. As a Pastor I can only pray that I could have a ministry much like that of Peter Bisset. Thank God for such a man.

Pator Peter Bisset was the younger brother of my grandfather, James Bisset. I grew up in Kenya as the son of missionary parents listening to my grandfather preach in his tremendous Scots brogue ( even in Kiswahili and Masai). It is good to hear sermons based on the truths of Gods word and the memories brought back by the accents are great.

Praise the lord for this site! I used to go to Pioneer Girls at the church in Pimlico 49 years ago. I attended ABC and worked at ABS for over 26 years. What a blessing this site will be.

I'm going to Heaven because of the ministry of Pastor Peter Bisset. Thank you so much for making these sermons available. It will be so great to hear his voice again. I have missed him so much since his passing in August 1995.
